About Sonnema Concrete
Who are we?
Sonnema Concrete is a 3rd generation business. George Sonnema immigrated from the Netherlands in the 1920's. He started his own concrete company, soon after employing many immigrants, helping them get their start in Canada. In 1969 Allan Sonnema took over the company and continued to serve the Edmonton area providing concrete services. Then in 1999, Don Sonnema, began the 3rd chapter of Sonnema Concrete with the construction of our shop in northeast Edmonton. Business expanded and evolved with the purchase of new equipment and modern techniques, which enabled us to do larger commercial floors, demolition and decorative concrete.
